1. Eligibility for Returns
- You are eligible to return any item purchased from Cotopaxina within 180 days from the date of receipt. This includes all men’s and women’s clothing items, as well as backpacks.
- To be eligible for a refund, the returned item must be in its original condition, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging. Items that show signs of wear, damage, or have been altered, used, or washed are generally not eligible for a full refund.
2. Initiating a Return
- To start the return process, please contact our customer support team at support@cotopaxina.com. Provide your order number and the items you wish to return. Our team will respond promptly with instructions on how to proceed, including a return authorization number if required.
- We recommend keeping a copy of your communication with our support team for your records.
3. Return Shipping
- If you received free shipping on your original order, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount, unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
- If you choose to use a shipping method other than the one provided by us (if applicable), please ensure that you obtain a tracking number and insurance for the return package, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit.
4. Inspection of Returned Items
- Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria for a refund.
- If the item is in acceptable condition, we will process your refund within 7 business days. If the item does not meet the criteria, we may contact you to discuss the issue, and in some cases, the item may be returned to you at your expense.
5. Refund Amount and Method
- The refund amount will be the original purchase price of the returned item, excluding any non – refundable fees such as shipping costs (except as noted above). If you received a promotional discount on your purchase and are returning only part of the order, the refund amount will be adjusted proportionally.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. For example, if you paid with a credit card, the refund will be credited back to the same credit card account. It may take a few additional business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
6. Exceptions and Special Cases
- Sale items and clearance products are also eligible for returns within the 180 – day period, but please note that the refund amount will be based on the sale price at which you purchased the item.
- In the case of items that are part of a set or bundle, if you are returning only some items from the set, please contact our customer support team. We will review the situation and determine the appropriate refund amount, which may be different from the price of the individual item due to promotional discounts applied to the set.
- If you received a defective or damaged item, please contact our customer support team immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs associated with the original order and the return, if applicable.
7. Canceling an Order
- If you wish to cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been shipped, we will do our best to cancel it and issue a full refund. However, if the order has already been shipped, you will need to follow the regular return process outlined above.
